Melony Cable, LAc, EAMP, MSPHarm

Melony brings a rare blend of expertise to every patient she treats. Trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Bastyr University and apprenticed under one of the country’s top sports medicine acupuncturists, she helps athletes, weekend warriors, and active adults and teens heal faster, move with less pain, and stay strong as they age. For the past 10 seasons, she has also served as the acupuncturist for the Seattle Storm — helping elite athletes perform at their best.

Before becoming an acupuncturist, Melony earned her MS in Pharmacology at Emory University and spent years in cancer research and drug development at Stanford and with Pfizer. This deep scientific background allows her to bridge Eastern and Western medicine in a way that gives patients the best of both worlds. She works collaboratively with physicians, naturopaths, physical therapists, and chiropractors to create a clear, comprehensive path back to health.

Outside of the clinic, she is a mother to two teenage boys (send deodorant!), a spoiled mastiff and an indifferent cat. She has been an athlete all her life, competing in diving, volleyball, triathlon and crossfit, and she enjoys pushing her body to its limits. In recent years, she has taken a deep interest in longevity and how we can harness science to improve our healthspans, living better for longer.

If you’re dealing with pain, an injury, or simply want to feel stronger and more supported in your active life, Melony would love to see you in clinic.

A personalized consult can help you understand what’s going on — and what it will take to get you back to the life you love.

DIANN O’NEILL

Thirteen years ago, I relocated to Washington to help care for my two grandsons—then just 8 months and 2½ years old. Today, they are 14 and 17, and being present for their everyday lives has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Watching them grow into who they are becoming has shaped my sense of purpose, patience, and gratitude.

Creativity has always been a constant thread in my life. I am a retired American Society Orchid Judge, with a lifelong passion for orchids that continues through my art. I hand-paint orchids on silk and pair them with luxurious leathers to create one-of-a-kind jackets. My love of dyeing and painting fabrics began during my studies in theatre costume design at the University of New Mexico, where storytelling through texture, color, and movement first took root.

I’ve also lived a life surrounded by unique animals—each one a reminder of curiosity, connection, and care. From a rhesus monkey with a basset hound companion, to mini pigs who lived indoors, to a paint donkey who bonded with one of them, animals have always been family. For over 50 years, English Bulldogs have been constant companions. Today, Pearl, my five-year-old bulldog, is rarely far from my side.

Being part of Level Up Acupuncture feels like a full-circle moment. I came to Washington to support my grandchildren in their daily lives, and now I have the privilege of supporting Dr. Mel and the patients she serves each day. Helping others behind the scenes—so healing, movement, and recovery can happen out front—is where my experience, creativity, and care come together.
